 The Ruler of Sharjah gave Juma Al Majid a rare copy of the Holy Quran

Under the directions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, HE Mohamed Khalaf, Director General of Sharjah Media Foundation, and Dr. Amhamed Safi Mostaghanmi, Secretary General of the Arabic Language Complex, gave  a rare copy of Holy Quran to HE Juma Al Majed, during their visit to the Center on 24 September 2018.

The origin of this copy of the Qur'an is preserved in the Museum of the Topkapı Palace, the governor of Egypt, Mohamed Ali Pasha, gave it to the Ottoman Sultan Mahmoud II in 1226 AH / 1811 AD.The Koran was written in kufic script and it was kept in a (Cairo, Egypt), then preserved in the Taba Kabbi Palace, which in 1928 became a museum.
