A delegation from Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre visited the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai. The visit aimed to learn about the center’s efforts in heritage preservation and to explore opportunities for cooperation in shared areas of interest. The delegation included Ms. Subha Al Amri, Head of Technical Services, Ms. Sarah Al Saadi, Collection Development Specialist, Ms. Rawdha Al Mansouri, Senior Specialist for Cultural Engagement and Community Awareness, and Mr. Rashid Al Muhairi, Cataloging Specialist at the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre.
The delegation was received by Ms. Sheikha Abdullah Al Mutairi, Head of the National Culture, Public Relations, and Media Departments at the center, along with Mr. Riyadh Taher, Head of the Technical Processing Department, and Mr. Anwar Al Dhaheri, Head of the Public Relations Division.
Ms. Sheikha Al Mutairi accompanied the delegation on a tour of the center’s various departments. During the tour, they visited the “Journey of Giving” exhibition, the reading hall where they were briefed on the services provided to researchers, and the private libraries section. They also received a detailed explanation from Mr. Riyadh Taher about the technical processing operations for the books owned by the center.
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the center for the warm reception and praised the significant efforts made by the center in heritage preservation.
