In celebration of International Archives Day, which falls on the ninth of June of each year, Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai, in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Administrative Development affiliated to the League of Arab States in Cairo, organized a virtual knowledge session entitled “The Future of Archives in the Time of Artificial Intelligence”.
The virtual knowledge session was co-presented by Prof. Dr. Sherif Shaheen, Emeritus Professor of Libraries and Information at Cairo University and Dean of the Faculty of Special Education at Misr University for Science and Technology, and Dr. Taha Mohamed Nour Abu Al-Khair, Scientific Supervisor of Documents and Archives at the Gomaa Al-Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai.
