Juma Al Majid Center presents a scientific lecture on the foundations of verifying manuscripts of Quranic studies
On the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai organized on Thursday, April 22, 2021 AD, a virtual lecture entitled “Standings with the Foundations for the Investigation of Qur’anic Studies Manuscripts”, presented by Dr. Youssef bin Musleh bin Mahal Al Raddadi, Professor of Quranic Readings at the College of the Holy Quran at the Islamic University of Madinah. The lecture was attended by a large number of those interested in the field of manuscripts.
The lecture aimed at presenting an optimal methodology in dealing with manuscripts of Qur’anic studies, clarifying their privacy, and drawing the attention of specialized researchers to the most prominent contemporary approaches in their investigation, starting with selecting the text to be investigated and collecting its copies, and ending with placing its appendices and indexes, in preparation for its discussion, arbitration or publication.
