Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai signed a memorandum of understanding with the Emirates Libraries and Information Association at the Sharjah Expo, in conjunction with the activities of the Sharjah International Book Fair, which will be held from the second to the thirteenth of this month. The memorandum aims to serve state libraries and their employees, and to develop programs and activities that contribute to raising the efficiency of professionals in the field of libraries and information.
According to the memorandum, efforts will be coordinated and mechanisms will be put in place for joint action between the two parties in future events, through the formation of joint committees that prepare programs, activities and scientific material, provide lecturers, and provide a helping hand in terms of training for employees in various office fields, in addition to inviting specialized persons to join as members of the association. .
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Dr. Mohamed Kamel Jad, Director General of the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage in Dubai, and Mr. Fahd Al Maamari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Library and Information Association.
At the end of the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding, Professor Fahd Al-Maamari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Library and Information Association, presented the center with the shield of the association, and its new publications. The gift was received by Dr. Muhammad Kamel Jad, Director General of the Center.
