As part of strengthening cultural and knowledge-based cooperation between national institutions, the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage has undertaken the printing and binding of the early editions of Al-Amn magazine, published by the General Command of Dubai Police. This initiative aligns with the terms of the recently signed cooperation agreement between the two parties.
This step aims to preserve the documentary content of Al-Amn, a leading publication in security and community awareness in the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Mohammed Kamel Gad, Director-General of the Juma Al Majid Center, welcomed First Lieutenant Ammar Jarallah, a representative from the Security Media Department at the General Department of Community Happiness in Dubai Police. Dr. Gad expressed his pleasure with the ongoing collaboration between the two institutions in their shared fields of interest. Following the meeting, the handover of the magazine editions was officially documented.
Hanan Mohammed Al-Rayes, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Amn magazine, affiliated with the Security Media Department and responsible for overseeing the preservation and documentation project, commended the collaboration with the Juma Al Majid Center.
It is worth noting that Al-Amn magazine, published by Dubai Police, is one of the oldest security periodicals in the region. For decades, it has contributed to raising security awareness and shedding light on the latest developments and advancements in policing and community affairs.
